Mid-States Energy Works, Inc. (MSEW) and its predecessor Mid-States
Armature Works, Inc. (founded in 1952) have been in continuous
operation for over 50 years.
The Mid-States organization includes a full service electrical apparatus
fabrication shop, in-house design capabilities, as well as field crews
for construction, trouble-shooting, testing, service, and maintenance.
Mid-States is also registered and authorized to offer engineering
services in the State of Kansas.
MSEW custom designs and fabricates components to the customers'
needs and wants. There are no cookie cutter product offerings.
Mid-States Energy Works, Inc. is a Kansas company serving the needs
of municipal electric utilities.
MSEW has the following associations:
- Associate member: Kansas Municipal Utilities (KMU)
- Member: Kansas Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI)
- State of Kansas Licensed for Engineering Services
